Attention – Graduating High School Seniors!
1. Northern Finnish Mutual Insurance awards scholarships to graduating seniors who plan to attend a college or technical school.
2. To be eligible, the senior’s parents or guardian must be a current policyholder of Northern Finnish Mutual Insurance. Seniors of board members, agents or staff are not eligible to participate.
3. One graduating senior from each of our four counties (Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas & Iron) will be awarded a $500 scholarship.
4. A letter will notify the student that they have been awarded a scholarship.
5. To receive the scholarship, each winner will need to make a small presentation at the company Annual Meeting at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center in Ashland. The short presentation should include what the winner knows about a Cooperative, what does Northern Finnish Mutual mean to them, what are their future plans and what college or technical school they are attending.
6. The scholarship winners must submit to the general manager of Northern Finnish Mutual proof of successful completion of their first semester. The $500 will be sent directly to the college after the completion of their first semester.
